When I was in high school, none of the girls wanted to share their secrets. Where they got that nail polish from, where those cute shoes are from, or even if you use a GHD on your hair. Everything seemed to be a big secret.

That’s what I love about the blogesphere, everything is so open. We share where we get our bargain buys from, and how much we got them for. Our beauty secrets are out, and we’re here to share what works best for us.

I’ve had quite a few people ask about what I’m using for my hair and on my skin, so my friend suggested that I post about it. I am by no means an expert, and I’m really not someone that has tons and tons of products, but when I find something that works for me, I stick to it. Here’s what I use:

The Aussie Aussome Volume shampoo and conditioner works so well for me. It smells fresh, and leaves my hair feeling super clean and gives it some great volume. The thing that I love most about this product is how shiny and sleek it leaves my hair looking and feeling.

When it comes to a heat protector against the plates of the GHD, I use the Lee Stafford Arganoil serum, as well as a Lee Stafford flat iron shine mist, all I can say is that it smells great and works so well on my hair. I’ve had the Arganoil for about 8 months now, and I’m only half way through the bottle, one (half) pump is more than enough for my head.

My skin can get really dry, Winter, Summer, whatever the weather, it’s dry. I haven’t found a great cream that works just the way it is. The Elizabeth Anne’s baby aqueous cream is thick and gives good moisture, but it still isn’t enough for my dry skin. I mix a little combination of Bio Oil, glycerine and Johnson’s baby oil into the cream, and then it’s perfect for me.

In the evenings after a shower, I make sure that my skin is super hydrated by using just the Baby Oil on my body, and then the bio oil on my face. Since I’ve been using the Bio Oil, my skin looks amazing, and I have an even complexion.

The  routine for my day face, is an old one. I’ve been washing my face with Dove and using the Ponds vanishing cream since I was in high school. It’s served me well. This year, however, I found that my skin was really really dry, and that’s when I started using the Bio Oil in the evenings. The ponds keeps my skin looking matte, even when there’s no make up on. If I am wearing make up, the only thing that needs touching up is the lipstick 🙂

I do use a face wash that a friend gave me to try out as well, but I didn’t get the chance to take pictures of that one. It’s also been good to me, and it’s called Isabella Garcia.

And that’s pretty much it! These are my old faithfuls. What do you use? I’d love to hear from you!

Thank you for reading 🙂
