Yesterday, our sweet baby turned a month old, my goodness, where on earth has the time gone?! While I was editing our Birth Story video, which you can watch on YouTube here, it felt like that had happened forever ago! Funny how time can move so fast.

Now that we have a baby, it didn’t take too long for us to realise that life will never be the same again. For example:

At the moment, 0ur lives revolve around feeding and burping – as I type this, our baby is hanging over my one shoulder, trying to get a wind out.

Handbag? What handbag?! Petite, pretty handbags have been swopped out for this diaper bag. At least it has the stripes, which is my favourite.

Confession, I’ve fallen asleep while breastfeeding, many, many times.

But I don’t feel so bad, because Darren is usually almost fully asleep when he changes Ezra’s nappy at 3am, and I know this because he almost always trips over his own feet after stumbling out of bed.

But being able to share the load, especially in the evenings with my husband is the biggest blessing. He is a phenomenal Dad, and an incredible husband. I am so blessed.

With that being said, I’m really proud of us for getting through the first month with Ezra without any drama. We’ve been to the Mall with him – the cabin fever was at an all time high that day for me, and also managed to take him to church with us. It was a bit awkward at first, but we found our feet eventually.

Ezra really doesn’t cry much, a few moans and groans here and there when he’s hungry and has a wind, but other than that, he’s a peaceful baby. But obviously he would cry on Sunday. At church. In the guest lounge, after sleeping for 3.5 hours – that’s what happens when he has to wait for his food!

This blurry picture of Ezra captures his little personality so well. He is pleasant, smiley, and recently, very talkative during and after bath time! He loves his sleep, and hates it when his arms and hands are wrapped up. He also laughs, and cries in his sleep! He is so entertaining, and we love him so. He is truly our greatest gift.

Thank you so much for popping by, and for all the kind words and congratulations. You guys are amazing!
